Take A Tour Of The Kitchen

We invite prospective customers to tour the facility and meet with our staff to discuss their needs. Visitors are welcome and advice is free. Due to 24 hour security and controlled access at our location, we advise scheduling an appointment rather than dropping in. Just give us a call or send an email to our contact address to make an appointment.

New customers need to provide proof of business liability insurance (we can provide you with a list of insurance brokers who our customers have used). You will need to complete our license agreement, pay a nominal security deposit and our annual membership fee.

Each client business must have at least one Certified Food Manager on staff, and we encourage clients to have employees obtain Food Handlers' Certificates. Information about these certification programs is available on the SF Dept. of Environmental Health website.


Eclectic Cookery holds the facility permit to operate from the City and County of San Francisco. However individual businesses may be required to obtain certain permits in their own name and at their own expense depending on what they are doing and where (see SF Dept. of Environmental Health website). We can assist you to determine what permits may be needed and help you complete the documentation for obtaining the permits required for certain types of businesses, certain locations or special events.
